I love it.
I'm second to none in my love for Ferrari, but I honestly wouldn't take a Pilota over a standard Pista. It's ironic that they call it a TM car because one will have much more latitude building a Pista than a Pilota, it seems. Regardless, I do like the "idea" that they are making a limited number for an exclusive few. I just don't like the looks of it, which is the most important thing to me.
Yes and thats my biggest disappointment... the Car has the 2017 WEC Livery to honor the WEC World Title, lots of Carbon, Nr 51 on Door and Steering Wheel but you CANNOT have the 2017 Color of the Car nor Rosso Scuderia. I mean if you make a Road Version "lookalike" of your World Champion Car but not offering the Color you did not make the Job properly. Why should it be silver.. or yellow... I dont get that. I have a confirmation but why should I buy I car with the "wrong color"?
I would have thought Ferrari would give you one as your Speciale must have provided them with at least as much of the "inspiration" as the 2017 GTE !
This isn't supposed to be an upgraded model. It's just a livery, just like the 70th edition "special models".
Agreed. Very astute on the V8 a rung below the V12. The numbers are well managed. Evidence the 488 same time as F12, the Pista reportedly same as 812 and the F12TDF the fastest.
what a friendly Gesture and easy to say on other people`s land......but good it wasnt really necessary....and anyway..there has been a much bigger superpower that reached the Rhine 2000 years ago......ask Varus and his Roman Legions what happened....
Hopefully not a photoshop and the 2nd of 4 colors available, silver...... https://www.instagram.com/p/BkNrn1-A8-0/?hl=en&taken-by=only488pista
With the high cost of competing in Ferrari series' and racing, you'd think they'd offer the Pilota scheme to those people for free. I mean, it's pretty much such some paint and bare carbon, right?
If this is the case, I'll seriously consider to pass and get the normal one that I've been allocated.
Except that at these price levels (that include the standard Pista IMHO) people prefer to buy "Ferrari endorsed exclusivity" rather than what they like, guessing that second-hand buyers will also buy "exclusivity" rather than someone else's spec (no matter how nice it could be). In the end it's more about speculative investment than liking the car.
epic images. Thanks for posting. Money aside, epic car. If they offered me one of these (wont happen) I would do it in a second. Talk about rare.....
