quick glimpse of a white Cali? in Six Forks Friday about 4:00 pm heading north. Have not seen that car up here. Owner on here?

 

Spotted a black McLaren 720s twice in the same hour on Rea Road while eating lunch at Blakeney.

 

Yellow 360 southbound on six forks near Strickland this morning about 10:00 am

 

Tonight in Raleigh:
-Blue California in a pay-to-park lot at the corner of Dawson and Hillsborough tonight around 8 pm.

Saturday, June 2nd, south of Raleigh:
-White Porsche 991.2 heading in the other direction (towards Apex) on Ten Ten at Old Stage around 2:20. First refreshed GT3 I've seen on the streets so far, and definitely not something I was expecting to see in my neck of the woods.

Monday, June 4th, in Cary:
-Red Ferrari 458 Spider headed in the other direction in Regency Park at about 11:30 this mid-morning. Wasn't able to react in time to grab a pic, but it looked like it might have been the same one I saw driving around near Trader Joe's a couple years back.

had the 328 out yesterday and spotted a baby blue McClaren heading southbound on Creedmore. This was about 2:00 pm

 

Saw a sweet-looking silver SRT Viper with black stripes at the La Farm plaza off of Cary Pkwy around 4:00 pm this past Saturday.

 

No Ferraris, but still cool enough to mention:

Tuesday, June 12th, in Cary:
-Orange Lotus Elise on Cary Pkwy near the YMCA around 9:45 pm. Awesome-looking little car.

Tonight, June 13th, in Cary:
-White Dodge Challenger Demon (at least I think it was a Demon, clearly had a wide body) on Holly Springs Rd near Cary Pkwy around 10p.

 

You can get a Hellcat with the widebody package now as well. The hood is the telling piece between the Hellcat and the Demon - the Demon has a single wide hoodscoop, the Hellcat has the much smaller central hood vent/scoop flanked by two smaller vents.

 

I'd heard that but wasn't sure if the widebody Hellcats were out yet. (Looks like there are a few on Cars.com though). I think the one I saw had the large hoodscoop, but it was dark out and he was heading in the other direction. The first thing I saw was the headlights, then I noticed the widebody, but by then it was past me and I couldn't get a good look at the hood.

 

Saturday, June 16, ~8:45-8:50 am):

Red/beige Ferrari 488 on 521 in Indain Land headed south (not sure if Spider or GTB)
Orange Lamborghini Huracan with Performante-style wing also headed south on 521 about 2 minutes later near the new RedStone theater

I suspect that these two were meeting somewhere - perhaps the new Monte Carlo garage 'car apartments' just a bit south of where I spotted them.

 

Matte orange Huracan? Might have been the Vorsteiner from Metrolina. I've seen it around Charlotte several times.

 

I couldn't tell you if matte or gloss. It disappeared behind traffic after the light changed. It definitely had black non-OEM wheels and a Performante wing.

 

I am new to the area and I am wondering why thee isn't a Ferrari Dealership in Charlotte.

Dark colored Panoz Esperante spotted on 64 in Raleigh. Can’t say I’ve seen one of those in person. Definitely didn’t expect to see it in the rain.

 

Those are super rare, awesome find!

Also, not something I personally saw, but thought I'd mention due to its exclusivity. One of my coworkers spotted a white Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 with silver stripes leaving Whole Foods in Cary this past Sunday. 1 of just 600 produced, and I'm almost certain it's a local car as well.

 

Friday, June 30th, in Charlotte:
-Black Lamborghini Huracan Spyder valeted at a restaurant on Tryon St in uptown around 9:30 pm near the square.

Sunday, July 1st, in Cary:
-White Audi R8 (new gen) on Penny sort of near Holly Springs Rd about noon. First new R8 I've seen in the area. Also seen a white Challenger Demon cruising around the same area a couple times over the past few weeks.

 

My dad mentioned seeing a red 488 GTB turn off of Ten Ten Rd and head south on 50 sometime early afternoon on Thursday while he was filling up in Garner. Very rare sighting in these parts.

 

Saw a white 991.2 GT3 (maybe the same one as in post 3705) on the winding section of Holly Springs Rd right near Penny in Cary this afternoon a little after 3:30.

 

Saw a blue Panoz Esperante on Ten Ten. Guessing it’s the same one I saw earlier.

 

Grey Aston Martin Vantage on Cary Pkwy today about 7:45 am. Also a red Porsche 996 GT3 driving through the La Farm parking lot around 1 pm.

 

So I almost never see exotics around Charlotte. I must not pay enough attention. However, in just the last 6 days I saw these notable cars:

White Mclaren MP4 12C on Sunday July 15th on Bethel Church Rd in Cornelius. It sounded great. Must have some serious exhaust work.

Gray Mclaren MP4 12C on Saturday July 21st on Talbert Rd in Mooresville. Is it just me or is the MP4 12C aging especially well?

Blu Cepheus Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 on Saturday July 21st on Plaza Rd in Mooresville. Eye popping color.

 

there is a bunch of exotics in south charlotte and around lake norman. You wont see many in south park or central charlotte

 

So I live in south Charlotte just above 485 off Providence and I seldom see any exotics. In fact, I have only seen one and that was a year ago, an orange 650S. In fact, I have about 2500ish combined miles around the country roads south of Charlotte total since last July in my F12 and Performante and I have yet to see a single exotic while out driving those particular cars.
