Looking at Fabspeed, Kline, S-Line, Tubi, and IPE. Out of these, which gives the best quality hi-pitch sound? I've seen various YouTube videos of these exhausts in action but hearing them from TV speakers doesn't seem right or authentic.

By the way, are these exhaust systems compatible with stock headers? My mechanic told me my stock headers are still in pretty good condition and I don't want to replace them if I don't have to just yet. (more $$$).

I have Fabspeed headers and xpipe. I think my sound quality is deeper and a bit raspy and not as hi pitch. My car was captured in this video. Jump to the 12:44 minute mark to hear the exhaust

I would rather replace the headers first. No fun driving around in a time bomb.

Does it affect the sound much by changing to an aftermarket headers?

I have fabspeed headers and cats in my 430 I think they have sound clips on their site. I will say this the car is pretty loud, not for everyone, but I like it.

I use a full IPE, it's high pitched.

Though, I reckon a Kreissieg is higher, their stuff is insane.

Kreissieg for high pitch @ WoT. Or cheaper route: de-cat + Capristo "stage 3".

After much deliberation I chose Fabspeed headers and Kline Innovation exhaust. I fitted the Kline first while waiting for the headers and found that the exhaust was too quiet when the valves were closed. With the valves open it was fine.
Once the headers were fitted, the exhaust is about the same as stock with the valves closed and much higher pitched and louder with the valves open. The sound has improved but there isn't any drone when cruising.

I have a friend with a Capristo Stage 3, with DeCat and Headers. My IPE was higher pitched, his was lower than mine.

Compared to Tubi (similar deep tone as stock):

I've seen your videos recently on Youtube, Ronnie, and they're simply amazing. The price of S-Line exhaust seem pretty reasonable to others out there. Couple questions. First, do you buy the S-Line directly from the manufacturer? I've emailed S-Line several times and gotten no response. Second, if I keep my stock headers, will I get the same sound? (probably not I'm thinking but I can't afford to replace both right now).

I too am looking at the Kline, has anyone actually heard both the stainless and iconel versions? Any idea on the difference in tone?

Just a heads up you will not get that same sound with the stock manifolds. I ran the S line with the stocks and was not impressed at all. It was slightly higher pitched then stock but not worth the cost in my opinion. However with headers it sounds simply amazing. At this point I wish I didn’t get rid of my set up and am currently searching for another. I would just go ahead and grab an S line exhaust and some top speed headers. The headers will need replaced at some point anyways. You’ll get peace of mind and a an amazing sounding car in one shot.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I guess I can't get around of not replacing the stock headers if I want the best sound (and peace of mind).

If I'm going to replace the headers and exhaust at the same time, how many hours of installation time are we talking about here? 10?
