George, I'm not a big VTEC guy, so yea, I don't think the S2000 is for me. They are great engines, BUT, I'm yearning for the woooooooossssssssssshhhhhhh of a spool and that amazing *gasp* of a BOV, and I love MGA's, so I figured, what the hell lol

This should be in my garage by next week hopefully. The owner just put the body on today, and pulled the engine.

LOTS to do.... But I'm happy, and will take plenty of time.

Seats are there, most of the chrome, a new dash, gauges, a few rear ends, etc. etc. and I told him to keep the windshield, I'll be cutting the posts and installing a Sebring screen :)

I would not put the Honda engine in, no low end torque. I would try something like the Miata engine and I know they were working on electric superchargers (and turbos) for those engines (like I said try checking out the miata forum), that where lightweight and not difficult to install. The gearbox on the Miata is very good (I've a few of them over the years) and I think if you can get between 220-250hp (and decent torque coming in at around 1500 rpm), you will have plenty of power, Remember these are small, low and light cars, the feeling of speed will be enhanced because of that. Yeah I would have some fun helping you if I where in CT

    That’s sad.

Probably very wise, but still sad.

Launch a business. Or build a car.

When I bought this, I was planning on taking the offered DoD position I had starting in late July. But then my entrepreneurial side kicked in, and I declined it for a life adventure :)

Can’t really rationalize staring at it with minimal capital at these beginning stages.

It’s ok though. Now’s not the time. Gotta pay my dues, then enjoy the reward at the end. There will always be another car.
