360 F1 Hydraulic Pump Relay Pictures (inside)

Finally was able to buy my dream car....
Drove two days and heard a buzzing sound coming from what I believe is the f1 pump it stayed on after I shut car down this site has been so helpful...I think from what I see here the relay went bad and the pump stayed on till its death...lol anyone else have this happen?? I really want to attempt to fix it myself...

You can replace the pump motor (not the head, just the pump motor) and the F1 pump relay yourself. First, though, I would have diagnosis done by an expert to make sure you are not just throwing parts at something that does not need them.

The OEM pump relay is a Tyco V23134-B57-X203. An upgrade to that is the Tyco V23134-B57-X152, also available as a BMW part for around $20. Part number is 61361393403. The best upgrade for the 30 amp relay, however, is the Tyco V23134-B57-X266, which Juri normally carries. You can find him on E-Bay and see if he has any of -X266 relays left, about $50.

Hello All,
I'm Ray from HKG, I bought F430 (2006) spider 6 months ago, no issue until last month found headers crack, just replace Fabspeed header. Work pretty good. However, just found some abnormal sound(b..b..b..b..b..b..b..), even I took off the key, the "b" sound still exist for half minute, and need some help from what is going on. Thanks for help.

 

It would be very difficult for us to try and help as we dont know what b b b sound is supposed to sound like.
Can you post an audio clip?

And where is the sound coming from?

• What modifications does your car have?
• What after market electronic products are installed in the car?
• Is the sound present all the time?
• When does the sound appear?

Thanks for reply.

1. My car is no sound before, after change the exhaust manifold, this sound happen.
2. Car cam Blackvue DR650s-1CH, and rear parking cam.
3. This sound present all the time once start the engine for one min.
4. This sound still present after switch off the engine and take out the key for around one min.

I wished you live close to me as I will just ask you to stop by my house and see how I can help you figure outn the issue you're experiencing.

But since you're far from me we'll try it via FChat.

Here's what I recommend:

1) This thread is about 360 F1 relay.
So as not to highjack this thread I recommend you create a new thread stating your specific issues so that hopefully more people will chime in and try to help.

2) For now I think the next best approach is to find exactly where the beep is coming from as that will tell us which component emits the sound and lead us to the root cause.

Did you checked to see of the F1 Pump A30 Fuse was burnt? or not?
