Still no US pricing. I’m more interested in the options and packaging. I wonder why the hold up.

My guess is that Ferrari is trying to find out how far they can go to maximize the selling price without damaging their customer's relationship; they have probably some margin for the short term (given the somewhat limited production and the recorded interest) so that they will sell all cars unless they go really crazy, but if the price is too high all interested people (at that price) will get a car and there will be a guaranteed depreciation (which may disappoint some).

What ever price Ferrari determines, they know every car produced for the US will be sold at MRSP.

If that's the case. Would really like a 275 to 300k base nicely equipped. So most are built around 330-350k. They can't go to overboard as the pista aperta will be more. Msrp for gt2rs, huracan performante's and 720s are in the low 300's with some options and those are pretty good comps.

When we went to spec ours, with a medium specc'd build, he said to expect a 4 in front of it, so i would assume $415-450k range.

I certainly hope you’re right, but I suspect $350k is the base.

so a fun question...if you have a build spot confirmed does $25-50k really matter? As soon as delivering start all build spots for the first and second year will be GONE. If they aren't already.

This is dealer BS, don't fall for it.

$350K-360K base, but keep in mind certain features are standard/priced in that are optional on other 488 cars.

This forum is mostly speculation to the extreme, how many times I got flamed for "you don't need to buy a Lusso" I lost count. This is not a limited production car, your dealer is the limiting factor based on allocation and how their customers respond. They will work their Atelier and high MSRP customers first, then work their way down to maximize profitability.

Hang in there and you'll be fine, no need to get hosed by overthinking it, plenty of other fish in the sea (720S, GT2RS, Performante, etc.).

Let your dealer work for YOU and not the other way around.

Sorry, my price range should read $325K-340K base, too late to edit.

No worries. We're all just enthusiasts excited about the car. Discussing pricing is just another form of enjoying the process. I got my allocation because I am a standing client with my dealer. While I'll never hold back on speccing my car with every option I desire, that doesn't mean I'm not eager to learn what the base and options pricing is. I don't agree that anyone will get a car if they are just patient. I appreciate your view but those unable or unwilling to play ball in one form or another with their dealer will not get a Pista allocation. They just won't.

If you have history with your dealer, you'll get a Pista, eventually. Don't expect to walk in and place an order, is what I was referring to above. If you get the Lusso approach, it just means your dealer thinks less of you and believes they can milk a quick $80K-100K. Same goes for the "games" and "sold out" BS, on a car that doesn't have a limited production.

You have to call it like it is.
