Posted link to the same article in the Elton thread and commented that Horner must see an opportunity for Verstappen to seize the moment (RBR win, Elton DNF) and launch an assault on the WDC. Horner turning the knife in Elton's DNF wound trying to unbalance him.
Oh sorry I did not see that. I dont like to over post the same things. Agree that Christian is having a bit of fun before the British GP. Chivalrous lol
Can we talk about the initial tires taylor made for Ferrari ? Ferrari the only team who did not struggle in Austria with the Tires. What we are supposed to think ?
Vibrations possibly? There was some issue with the new power unit so they delayed it by a race...maybe the problems weren't sorted? Fingers crossed.
More aero updates coming to Silverstone for Mercedes.... AMuS reports that the new aero update from Mercedes was originally planned for Silverstone but they were much quicker in the production which was the reason that most parts were already there for Spielberg. Now the rest of the update will be there in Silverstone.....

Taylor made for Ferrari??? Seriously??? These are the original tires that where used from the beginning as far as I know and Ferrari did their homework to make them work....Now the teams that were not able to do the same complain and ask for a change to adjust the tires to their chassis instead of the other way round....
This is because you did not have to shoot out against us this time after our players deserved their extra holiday with their "sensational" performance against the greats of South Korea
Haha yes indeedy... I could go on..however we'd better stay on topic, I see the Ban Hammer has been swinging...thinning out the herd.
@jgonzalesm6 I figured you’d know best... do the teams/drivers sleep at the track in the team facilities? For tracks like in France and now in Silverstone, which aren’t exactly close and accessible, I’d imagine it would be almost impossible to get everyone to and from the nearest hotels each day and night.
Correct on the tracks you mentioned. Other tracks, the drivers stay off site and come in via their own personal transportation whether it's a bicycle, motorcycle or vehicle.
How much does all this portable building crap cost? Once again lots of money being spent that has nothing to do with being faster on the track.
I suggest the buildings earn their keep as a base for the weekend https://www.motorsportweek.com/news/id/18923 and last several years
I wouldn't mind living in some of those! Especially, the Mercedes. McLaren and Force India ones. But the Holzhaus! OMG!
Earn their keep? You could easily achieve the same for far less expenditure - as they always did in the past and as they seem to manage quite well at the non-European races that these monstrosities don't go to. I really don't know how any F1 team can plead poverty and then spend huge amounts of money on a custom-designed and built paddock palace that needs several trucks to transport around Europe and seems to serve primarily to hide everyone away from the fans.
no surprise there. Ferrari, at the moment, running the curved rear wing. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
