Calling someone factory trained when the haven't seen factory training for 15 years is a bit misleading. I guess I could call myself Microsoft certified if I was trained in 2004.

 

If the car was built in 2004, wouldn't the training have likely been around that time? That factory training might not be useful for a 488, though.

Does the factory still do training on the 430?

 

Yes they do still train on the 430 model. Specific class called "Out of Production Models" and covers cars outside of current production. 308-430 models.
In addition they would not have access to the updates and bulletins released by the factory for the models and the updates and bulletins for a 430 is extensive.
