Hi all, Maybe someone could help me, i would like to change my 3500's carpet (that have been change a long time ago by a porsche type carpet). I do think, the good carpet is a wilton wool, is it correct ? Did you have any adress for the top quality ? Best for all Ludovic
Here are two adresses in UK. They make lamswool floor rugs (dunno if that would fit your needs): http://www.sheepskinshop.co.uk/product-category/lambswool-car-floor-rugs/ http://www.easirider.com/lambswool-over-rugs/
The Wilton wool is not correct for the 3500. A very few cars may have had Wilton wool specified by the customer when the car was built . most of the 3500's had a corse loop style carpet
Ludovic, I would suggest to try www.hvlclassleathers.com or www.carinteriors.nl It’s the same guy based in the Netherlands and provides carpet and leather for period ferrari, maserati etc Rudolf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Eugene is correct, the 3500gt didn't use Wilton wool carpet. It used a loop and cut pile carpet. It is available from MIE on special order, color of your choice.
I fully agree with Ivan. Maieli offers a nearly PERFECT reproduction. Not cheap (because handmade), not easy to get (long delivery time) but VERY close to the original. I compared it with the original one of my 3500 GTi, really perfect. Have a look to find the correct colour. Alfred
