The 2018 FOG Rally (open to ALL Ferrari owners) - now in its 8th year, is set to launch on September 7th from Murray Circle, at Cavallo Point at the North end of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Traversing some of the state’s most iconic roads and landmarks, the Rally caravan will arrive a the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino at Incline Village for a weekend of celebration and fundraising for the important work of Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area.

The Rally actually begins with the Gala at the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco on Wednesday, September 5th, Guests will begin the evening with a wine and cocktail reception and the opportunity for an up-close viewing of some of the Ferraris participating in the Rally, each adorned in Rally livery. The evening continues with a sumptuous dinner, a carefully curated silent auction, followed by a live auction, and special entertainment.

We are celebrating the fact that the Rally has become one of the National Fundraising Leaders for Make-A-Wish Foundation, and our record-breaking success for Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and the children they serve!

I'm curious, how many F-chatters may be joining the Rally this year?

In past years we have had up to 15 I believe.

If you have been on the Rally in past years, what was your most memorable part of the experience?

Are you planning to join us this year?

I’ve been on 6 of the rally’s and will attend this year’s as well. Fantastic weekend of driving, wonderful routes, great destinations and such a wonderful charitable cause. Back in 2011 I was considering participating on the first Rally which went down Hwy 1 to LA. My concern was whether my 328 could keep up the pace. I was happy to discover several groups traveled at different paces and there was no pressure to keep up with the “spirited” group. Lots of fun and looking forward to driving over Carson Pass Hwy to Tahoe this year.

If anyone is on the fence about attending this event, I must say, don't waste anymore time and sign up. Not only this rally is an amazing scenic drive, special people, great food, cool cars and loads of laughs but its also for a GREAT cause. This is the time of year I look forward to. I personally have many memories from the past years. Lots of hilarious experiences and some serious deep moments. Its nice to be able to form great connections and friendships with fellow foggers. Every year it gets a little deeper and more solid.
I would like to share my favorite most memorable Fog rally experience, but I think if I do, I would get arrested.
Hope to see everyone at the rally gala this year and hope to meet lots of new folks as well….

Easy to echo the postings that have preceded mine,

When my wife and went on our first Rally four years ago we were a bit apprehensive. Could we keep up? Would it be easy to make new friends in the group? Would it be too much driving? Or not enough? And who were these FOG people anyway??

Based on our experiences we can unequivocally say the annual FOG Rally has been the highlight of our Ferrari ownership. It has exceeded our expectations and given as much back to us as we could ever have imagined. First,,your fellow Rally drivers are a fascinating and friendly group of people. They share a passion for Ferrari’s with a comminent to helping children with critical illnesses. The Rally itself is well organized to balance tine for fun driving with time for socializing / sharing meals with profoundly moving time with Make-a-Wish kids and families.

We strongly encourage you to get your Ferrari out of the garage and join this year’s Rally!

This is the ultimate Ferrari Festival !

Meet 50 other Ferrari owners, talk Ferrari's, look Ferrari's, and drive Ferrari's.

Everywhere you go and see it is all Ferrari's.

You are a part of this 50 Ferrari envoy cruising the highway and back road with police escort leaving the departure point.

It doesn’t get more unreal than this.

You got to go on a FOG Rally to complete your Ferrari ownership experience.

All for a good cause Make-A-Wish.

Before we signed up, I remember having quite a few questions. We had never driven in a ‘rally’ before. So if you have any questions or concerns, share them here and I’m sure one of the Rally ‘veterans’ can provide an answer.

We hope to see you on the Rally!

The FOG rally is terrific. I have gone for the past few years. It's a great group of people-men and women who love their cars and believe in the prancing horse. Nice friendly people, beautiful drive, good food and drinks, great gala-Last two years there were famous race car drivers who spoke, and finally you would be supporting Make A Wish Foundation bay area which is a great charity. Have fun and get a tax deduction at the same time!

I went on the first FOG Rally, and have only made three, but I was out of the country the other times, so it wasn't all my fault... Hah !!

I promised my sister I would take her last year.... we had such a great time, we decided this year to bring my mom.... only problem - the 328 is just a two seater....

My mother came up with the solution - she told me to go buy another car - but it had to have a cup holder...

so now I'll have a 328 and a California on this year's Rally..... so, life is still great with a 328, but now I'm California Dreamin' as well.....
