I looked at this car and frankly it wasn't that nice. The driver's seat was apparently redyed with something and was peaking off. Lots of paint chips on the front panel etc. Decent car, but far from a category 1.

Look like the white GTB’s seller is either Tim Taylor or Derrick ??? of Red Car Restorations/P4 by Norwood.

I was totally the opposite. I loved the black vents and the roof spoiler. Even the 84/85 non black A pillar was something that I also loved.

I’m also a Lambo countach lover with the 5000S being way better than the original design.

If I were 5 years younger I would probably feel the same as you. This falls in the "you remember your first" type category with me.

Sold for 75K. Some thoughts :

Might have sold for more if car was Red and had original exhaust and SMOG equipment ( would have attracted CA buyers). Seller could have done better job explaining history, service records ect.

Would like to hear some other options.

I don't think the color hurt the price

Interesting that this car is local to me, and based on the pictures it looks like it's stored at a facility that I've been to many times. I'm sad that I've never seen it, especially since it's white and I kind of have a soft spot for white Ferrari's......

BaT seems to be hit or miss with Ferrari’s and 80% of the comments seem to be about timing belts. With the fee this guy paid $80k and sure he got the luggage set but the car did have some missing/altered components and, as I pointed out earlier, a lot of the stuff underneath and in the engine compartment looked to be neglected. I mean, who does a major service on an engine and puts a ratty $30 hose back on?
