Slow, you say? Well, I was driving a 2 cylinder, 29hp Citroen 2CV...

Haven't found info on any other run of Laguna Seca by a 2CV so if anyone knows of one, I'd love to hear about it! Even if it might spoil my "world record laptime of a 2cv at laguna seca"

 

haha I thought you put the wrong time in until I saw it was a Deux Chevau (2 cylinder car). Those are cool! I remember those from my Summers in France as a teenager.

 

Any California guys run Thunderhill East yet?

2.06 at the Glen last week, lotus exige V6. the car can do better, i still have a ways to go.

Last track day with the Speciale before trading her in for a 488. Loved the car, but I plan on doing way too many track days to keep using the Speciale. Need a cheaper car to abuse. Thinking Cayman R.

Third day in car, DOT slicks and short shifting (a relative term, still getting up to 9,000-9,500 rpm) so there should be a lot of room for improvement, especially on the driver side.

 

Was at PittsRace over the weekend, got down to a 1:52.8 full course. Great fun!

Down to 52.26 with two extra days. I think might be getting close to my personal limit soon. Could be time to get some help from a pro...

No time set - there were too many cars on the track, and to be honest I was poorly prepared (and too lazy) to really try...
I managed to reach what I consider a decent speed for a road car on a track though (the long straight certainly helped), track Dijon-Prenois (known for the legendary battle between René Arnoux's Renault and Gilles Villeneuve's Ferrari; IIRC the track was shorter at that time)

I hope to get down to a 1:59.999 but I’m moving all around due to d o harness and munch scud doesn’t have the wall mount for one either.
