    Dear FChat Members:
    I know it is very important to know as much as possible about a classic Ferrari BEFORE buying it, especially the original manufacturing data (color, chassis and engine numbers, etc.), what is the best way to get this information?.
    I found this website, does anyone know if has good content?

    or just search the "serial number and barchetta."

    It;s not 100% accurate but pretty good.

    Or you can hire Marcel Massini, a famous Ferrari historian. We're lucky to have him as an FChat member.

    Your third avenue is to go to the Vintage secion of this site and start a thread with the serial number asking for information. You'd be surprised how fast that can work.

    If it's four digits or fewer.

    Ferrari dealer,Ferrari historians,forums like this,google or local Fclub.or give it to vintage thread and maybe somebody have more info on your s/n.
