I can't remember who it was or even what show I saw it on (MIGHT have been Herm Edwards) that said something to the effect of "Every player in the NFL is on a leash, the more successful you are, the longer your leash is."

So Comcast decides to move the NFL Network off of its most popular cable package, to the next package up. Yes that makes sense.

Guess I'll start paying more attention to FS1, I can't stand any of the hosts of ESPN. I miss the good old days with quality personalities. At one point in time I was a fan of Keith Olberman.

 

It will haunt them forever. The team has never recovered, nor have they been the same, ever since the most boneheaded call in SB history.

 

As a youngster, I learned lotsa words & to read lips by watching football coaches on TV.

Yes he did, but the boneheaded call is what enabled Butler to make that play.

 

I read that as well.

Great preparation by coaching staff and great awareness by Butler to recognize the play and jump it before it developed.

I dreamed last night the Texans won the Super Bowl 49 to 7 by beating the Patriots.

Of course they won't meet in the SB, but the Texans are shaping up to have a real good team. Based on the last SB I don't doubt they could score 49 against the Pats, but they couldn't hold them to just 7.

 

Paul. Happy Summer. Recently, a team scored 40+ on the Pats with a back-up quarterback. I read about this in the papers.

Unfortunately for Tony, that's not the championship that anyone wanted to see him win (nor himself from that matter)

 

TO will not be present for his Hall of Fame introduction, and everyone is all over him.

Imo, that's his prerogative. He chose to celebrate at his Alma Mater. Also imo, he should have been 1st ballet HOFer hands down
