white one with stripe is absoluteyly gorgeous!!
I have to say I agree, I still like my non black pack blue one though. I have found there are not many vendor making 400 products and those that are want a lot of money for their products.
I’ve had both (not 400, but original). Unless the new 400 suspension is really different, that statement is utter garbage.
I have a 400 that I daily. I think for all the cars I have had, the handling and the suspension of the 400 is almost an outlier itself. It does handle better than all three of my porsche GT cars and all two of the Ferraris. It should have a lot to do the combination of it's hydralic handling, light weight and the suspension set up. Yes, the closet thing is the mclaren based on my limited test drive experience of 720s and 570s. But the Evora is a supercharged Camry engine that is not a natural aspirated one, so there is a small lag, and its engine noise is not the best at all. So I put it in sport mode with exhaust off. Regardless of price, I think this is the best driver car one can buy today.
The other aspect of the Evora is the cost of ownership, Having owned Maserati's, Porsche's, and a V12 Ferrari, is the cost of running it, I'm happy to look after it myself, do that with the others and it costs you at sale time. not so with the Evora but then again it doesn't cost Porsche, Ferrari or Lambo prices to maintain so I'm happy to take to my dealer.
And that's why I bought a high mileage demo, and the availability of a CD that lets Toyota Dealers Diagnose any issues and the parts are cheap.
My car has cost very little in ownership over the 4 years I have owned it. I really love my Evora more and more each day.
I do like my Evora 400, but I have to say, I go from it to a 4c to a 430 to a one of a kind 911, and on occasion I take out the 718 Cayman S. I think each person has their own idea of what a great drivers car is, I think the 4C (at least the way mine is set up) is the best drivers car I've ever owned, but that is merely my opinion.
The 4C styling was to me a real missed opportunity, and the lack of manual gearbox sadly just didn’t bo it form me sadly.
Not when you are driving at the constant speed on freeway, it does get dry and annoying fast. Local speed, it is okay. But I do like how the exhaust pops like a huge fire cracker randomly on streets.
Interesting mine does none of of these, I am wondering if the Federalised cars have different state of tune. Mine has 37,000 miles and is very well behaved, and no throttle lag what so ever
