Gents, apologies if this is a double up but free shipping to European ports would make it attractive at the right price. Appears to be the last P250. 15998 . https://www.auctionator.com/LotDetails.aspx?smode=3&lid=1476810
i recall gandini saying most of the design the urracos cues were shared off the khansim and re-proportioned to urraco platform. which is odd since the maser came out later.
The most innovative Lamborghini ever in Paolo Stanzani's opinion... Perhaps not what most would have expected, apart from enlightened V8 owners...
Wish I could, it's one of those pictures one finds on the internet. Hopefully someone can tell us more about it !
I just come back of one of my best ride ever! What a fantastic car! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 2573965
That 1st pic...….unreal! It just makes me laugh. The size comparison. As I always say, always makes me think back to that photo of that (copper?) Countach photo from years ago with the Corvette. All these Lambos are reasonable sizes.....until it's next to some newer. My Urraco sits with my other Lambos and looks normal…... that is, until I pull my wife's car in. I think I may do a photo set of several different cars/suv/trucks next to these cars.
So true... One more reason to love these cars, they are so nimble and so small compared to modern cars. And also due to the fact that the road system was designed in a time when the cars were much smaller, especially in Europe.
I have fond memories of this car, I was studying at ETH Zurich that time, just 500m down the street the party mile/red Light district began. there this pearl white Urraco P250 was parked, 20 years later it popped up for sale in east of Switzerland (2007) for a bargain. After 2009 I lost trace again, a very special color combination...
No, that's another one - 15394, it even had Silhouette wheels. The one with purple velour hide is 15182
Hi Everyone; I’ve posted here a couple of times and “check in” enough to think that this is definitely the most active Urraco site, am I correct in this? Lambotalk, **********, and VLG are the sites that I’ve also checked out. The “infamous” Beverly Hills Car Club now has 2(!!) Urraco’s. Just a couple of months ago they had another one that was commented upon here too. In any case would love to hear people’s thoughts of them. The yellow ‘73 would appear to be an enthusiast long-term owner example in running condition (beneficiary of a $17k engine out service in 2016)- ask $79,500. The white ‘74 also claims to be a long-term owner car but has certainly been neglected (“car just came out of storage”). The “ask” is however $10,000 less ($69,500). I know enough (now) about these cars (because of this site) to know that $10,000 is peanuts if there are mechanical needs. Honestly i’d probably budget $20,000 just to get it running again. Easy decision right? The “issue” is I HATE the non-European bumpers, totally affects the design of the car in my opinion. The white ‘74 has chrome front bumpers and only the “bumperettes” in back. I also like interior trim of the white ‘74 much more. Again would love to/would appreciate it very much to hear what the experts/enthusiasts/owners here think. Hi Raymond; Thank you so much for responding. Unfortunately no. Do you think it would be bad form (read: bad manners) to ask BHCC for them? Chassis resto on the yellow one? More so than the white one? I ask because the white would appear to me to be rougher of the two, but I know you know these cars much, MUCH better than I do. The advert(s) also describe the yellow as “mechanically sound” and in “good” condition, which I interpret as the car is at least a runner (read: it can start!!). The white is described as only being in fair condition and having just emerged from long-term storage; I interpret this to mean the car is a non-runner. This would explain the price delta too ($10,000). Thanks again. Temple
These are both Euro cars hence the steel bumpers and lack of stepped dashboard or roll bar of the P111. The yellow car, if the boot badge is original and with the ribbed seats it is potentially one of the 1st 50 cars. The white car has been retrofitted with those side markers.
