A few weeks ago I flew out to Maryland to help a friend drive back a special edition BMW 550i back to Sacramento. Highway 80 had stretches of 75 to 85 mostly Utah and Nevada. So driving 90 was fine. But you are correct. We were in the middle of nowhere on very straight, boring roads.

However Felisa is out and the F50 has not the benefit of combining a small ICE with electric torque. ;)

Surely, one can use a tender and can also handle the cost of a hypercar.
Regarding the 488 replacement, according to Sergio, it will be a hybrid of some sort. I am all for that if it makes it faster and better to drive.

The LaFerrari had the benefit of an electric drive. And a glorious 6.3 litre V12 on top of that!!! ;)

V8 with some sort of electric battery. V8 750 THP with a small battery packing 50-75HP giving the car 800-825HP ala LaFerrari.

I can't see Ferrari going starting over with a T V6. I think that's the new Dino or maybe new entry level Ferrari.

    Yes, that makes perfect sense!
I just don't believe that there will be a new Dino, or a smaller Ferrari for that matter.

I think there will be a new Dino. I also think Ferrari will continue on with a V8 in its midengine car with hybrid tech almost certain.

The next hypercar will have that AND a circa 1000 HP V12! ;)

    • Yes please. Aston Martin has always had great style, but bad performance. With Mercedes engines and technology, that shouldn't be an issue anymore. I think an Aston midengine exotic would be very successful in the segment.

Aston could end up the most beautiful car in this segment IMO

This car also has the F1 inspired fog light.

(488 or Pista had this too.)

So are we going to see a split in the 488 line? What do you think?

Like the Lusso with two engine options or two stand-alone models?
