If you've never gone to the PVGP event, you should really plan on doing it soon.

I just got back from Pittsburgh and it was a fantastic car show and historic races.

They race vintage race cars on the public street in Schenley Park on Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh.
Nothing between you and the racers flying by than a few hay bales.

Every car club sets up a car show on one of the hillsides of the next-door Country Club and Golf Course.
The Cortile is the All Italian Car Show part of the overall event which includes cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, etc.

That is where I displayed my black 458.

Here are some pictures of an incredible Bizzarini Strada that was part of the Cortile display.

Hey toggie, we didn't meet but I loved your car! Mine was the '77 308 GTB in the front of the long line, it won best Ferrari last year. Thanks for posting the Bizzarini! The guy that owns it brings the most amazing cars every year. It was great that the 330 GTC and the 250 Lusso showed up. With the Strada, it was a very nice showing of classics.

    George,

    Your 308 GTB looked great.
Here is a pic of it.

Also, here is my black 458 which was parked about 12 cars behind yours.

Another amazing car was the mostly original condition 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+ 2.
It is a Series II car (with single headlights), serial # 10069, and a real gem.

Pretty much completely unrestored, but it did have a repaint in 1974 that was a slightly lighter shade of dark red than the original Rosso Rubino paint.
Lots and lots of patina in the leather interior and overall condition of the car.

It was fun to talk to the owner of the car (since 1974) for quite a while.

    Thanks, Robert.

The cuoio color ("saddle" in Italian) interior still looks good to me.

My car now has over 13,800 miles on it.
It's been 7.5 years since December 2010 when I took delivery of it, so that is an average of 1850 miles per year.

We're going to the FCA Annual Meet in Watkins Glen this September for some more good times with it.

Beautiful car in the best colors.

I've never been to the PVGP, looks like a great event.

    Maybe next year.

I was in the bring a trailer display with the GT3RS. Great event. Super humid but fun. I saw the Ferrari display in the distance but was preoccupied with all the Marques between me and them. It will be a regular event for me

Thanks guys - you validate my being too cheap to restore it!
    A couple of minor corrections:
It was repainted prior to '74, but we don't know why, the ownership of the car between delivery to Modern Precision motors and the next owner in 1974 is a mystery. I bought it in '83 from him.
