    Well, true but not. Anthony mentions he has a VF2ss which is a mill, not a lathe. Certainly circular milling is an option.

    3D printing is a very elaborate technology with many different types and materials. Some material are not end use, others are. They all require post processing for cosmetic parts and coating them. A coated part will never look exactly like an as mold.

    Edit: No, that part at Superformance appears correct
