This film has a bit about the Espada at the end of it discussing tyres https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/lamborghini/espada.html
Beautiful article! Thanks Martin. https://petrolicious.com/articles/dream-drives-a-lamborghini-espada-makes-a-grand-tour-of-europe
Image Unavailable, Please Login Just finished the paint. Now need to start the assembly to #9235. Someone here on F-chat did a terrible paint job of Fly-Yellow plus full of trouble that was never properly dealt with. I took back to the original gold. See you all soon on the road!
Here is the second clip of the Espada being restored by Polo Storico. From the build sheet summary sheet you can see this is 9366 Verde Metallizzato and that the interior colour was changed from Verde Chiaro to Senape... https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/news/waiting-for-espada-islero-50-anniversary-tour
Here is the factory report on the event... https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/news/celebrating-espada-islero-50-birthday

I like the mirrors on the Espada. They remind me of these: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Does anyone know what either of these are?
The mirrors on that green Espada are from certain BMWs of the 70's such as the 3.0 CS Coupe and 2002. The are are called the "flag" mirrors for the general shape and to distinguish them from the "trap" (for trapezoidal) mirrors which preceded them and sometimes overlapped in time along model lines. To my eye, the Vitaloni much better suit the lines of the Espada and look far less clumsy than those flag mirrors, which appear heavy-handed on the Espada...
