I have ten Ferrari flashlights that commonly go missing in several 2000s' models, selling for $350 each, let me know if interested. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a question. Serious question, not trying to troll or derail your ad, perhaps looking to help you. How would a buyer know that these are ‘genuine’ original pieces and not reproductions? Maglites are plentiful and cheap, and it’s pretty easy to print up a stencil and paint the Ferrari script on a few. All of that can be done for about $25 a pop, retail. In order to command a $350 asking price, clearly yours must be genuine article, original equipment pieces. So again my question is, how do we know? Is there some sort of identification on the pieces themselves that verifies this?
That is a great point; however, I am fully certain that these are original as they were received from a Ferrari service center who will be getting back to me on the flashlights' part number.
Normal Maglights tend to have a knurled finish for grip in the centre of the torch where the Ferrari item does not. The image certainly looks identical to my factory torch. The factory part number is 180720. Hope this helps
Please post a complete, clear picture. Please also post a picture of the accompanying Ferrari box in which these ten Ferrari parts came. Thanks
This is exactly the correct answer. Even though new Mini MagLites can be had now from the company in a silver finish, the knurling on the body is standard on all MagLites. Also of note, now MagLites no longer have a halogen bulb as well - they are all LED now.
Hey Spencer Just purchased my first Ferrari (California) ad am looking for a flashlight for it. I realize this is an old post but was wondering if you might still have any left or perhaps now where I could locate one? Just be pristine!! Thanks Michael
Hi here is one on ebay (in the uk, but worth asking if they will post to the USA) a lot cheaper than the others i have seen recently..no affiliation with seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OEM-Ferrari-Silver-Mini-Maglite-Torch/153271104567?hash=item23afab7437:g:BdwAAOSw5Xpb9cwm:rk:26f:0
Hi, looks like that one sold pretty quick, hopefully to one of the members. This post reminded me I had a spare Ferrari Maglite torch stored somewhere, it took me a few days, but I have only just found it! It is in perfect condition, happy to sell it for the same price £200 plus shipping at whatever that coasts. thanks Mark
Hi Mark, I’ll take it. My address is: Michael Metts 7932 E Camino Vivaz Scottsdale, Arizona 85255 Let me know total cost including shipping and how you would like me to pay you. Regards Michael L
so would there be any interest in exact reproductions ? as per mag light Ferrari has not ordered any for eons! I have a source that can make exact reproductions ! ( would be marketed as such ) and I could sell them for a reasonable cost ( yes smooth barrels, Not knurled ) , the halogen light instead of LED might be a problem does it matter? Neil
No idea yet but a lot less than the " real" ones ! ( but these would be virtually indistinguishable fr the genuine ! ) I'll follow up if there is interest I already spoke w/ the man who can do it and he said he could and would. I'd be in the middle and selling ....
I think I,paid 80 for my real one. Bought a spare for about 150 maybe a few years ago I think you would sell quite a few if they were priced right.
I think MANY...because many have sealed closed from exploded batteries. If you suggest a price range, Neil, people could PM you if interested...
ok, i'll get on it tomorrow! see what "retail "cost would be . thx yes when the batteries discharge completely, they have a chemical reaction! ( when I was a child I asked my late father why they did this and the learned pharmaceutical/chemistry PHD said "Oh the batteries are angry at you because you did not replace them before they died! " HUH don't think so dad? ) -Everybody! please go put New, high-quality AA batteries in your flashlight NOW! -many probably don't recall when the last time they changed them ! - so it is time ! - else you may need to buy a new flashlight fr me !
