    My mechanic is in the middle of an engine install but discovering a few missing parts. I have a few suppliers looking but cannot find. It's part number 107868. If anyone can help it's the F-Chat community. Thx!

    I've ordered a part from this vendor before. It arrived exactly as I hoped (perfect item), but it did take around 10-14 days to arrive. (This may or may not be the case with most of their shipping.)

    Note that the dipstick insert can be installed even after the engine is put into the car. However, it will take a lot more effort, contortion, and adult language. So whether or not to wait for the part to arrive before dropping the engine in depends on how much you like your mechanic.
