Watch it sucka before you get your mouth washed out with soap. :D And for the record my POS still made more peak HP than your's. :p Further more had my car not been a POS there would not be so many DIY threads to help the rest of the 348 Brotherhood. ;)

Hmm, yeah your car caused more DIY's for sure. ;) And your HP claims were minutely higher. Wait until I have my Gothspeed headers and revalved heads.

    HA!

Revalved heads, to what 31mm from 30.5mm?

You don't even know what I have up my sleeve.

    Never, on both counts.

The poor F119 engine is suffocated so bad it can not realize the full potential it has.
Further more the rest of the car is in need of modifications as well. From the engine management to the suspension.

From Ferrari you get a dull, rough, uncut, unpolished, raw diamond with the 348. An unrefined diamond, but a diamond none the less. Leaving a 348 stock would be like mounting a raw diamond on a wedding ring = wrong. The 348 MUST be refined through modifications to extract its full potential, and to turn it into the true gem of a Ferrari that it can be. With out modifications the hidden engineering in the 348 cannot shine bright as it should. Asking me to leave this 348 stock is like asking a jeweler not to cut and polish a diamond.

And Chevys belong in Chevys. ;)

My other 348 truly needs to be completely gutted and turned into a track car.

    Mine?

If I was grading it I would give it a D. It had a very tough existence before I got it. Mechanically it's okay now after all these years I have been messing with it (coming up on 17), but the rest of the car is in hard shape, especially the interior. I have been more concerned with the engine than I have the rest of the car. It's the perfect car to turn into a weekend track car. Gut it, weld in a roll cage, racing fuel cell, fire extinguishing system, then let 'er rip tater chip.

It was nice meeting you today Joe, and your dogs too. Joe is a really nice guy.

As Joe said I decided not to buy his car. Why didn’t I buy it? In all seriousness I don’t have enough space for a second Ferrari. Yeah I could have sold my other one, but even then I still wouldn’t have the room.

After looking over the car, what Joe is asking is a totally fair price. I looked over all the receipts and the previous owner spent a MINT maintaining it. The interior is in okay shape, and there are some minor things that need to get fix, like sticky crap, but that is with just about any Ferrari, even the new models. Door locks work, windows work (slow like all of them), even both mad mouse seat belts worked (which surprised me), a/c blew cold, all the lights in the dash worked. Nothing major jumped out at me. There are a few easy things that need correcting but over all, as I said, Joe has his car priced spot on in my opinion.

Oh yeah! One more thing. I took an Uber to Joe’s place. After getting out of the car and being greeted by Joe we heard a *CRUNCH*! The Uber driver was so busy staring at the 348 that he backed into Joe’s neighbors mail box. The Mail box was still standing, so I think the Uber driver’s car took the brunt of the damage. LOL!!! The 348 is still turning heads after all these years

Good luck with the sale Joe, and congrats to whoever gets it.

Yea, when I wanted to buy a 355 the little lady said I couldn't have another "red" car. So I bought a blue one. :)
