    Came across someone trying to locate this car...has anyone ever seen it or know where it is now?

    Early 50's SCCA Special, last seen in the Long Island area, this particular car was popular on the Bridgehampton scene in the early 50's. This car was made up of a hodgepodge of parts, fiberglass, aluminum, bondo! a true "Special" it had a Lea-Francis 1.5L motor in it, last seen in the early 60's in Long Island in rough used shape may be red now and most likely in rough shape maybe with a small block motor now. Maybe sitting in decay in a barn near you.

    Scary. Crash happened at 6:00 am, when it is still dark. Who knows what happened? But I'm concerned because I have a client with a '59 white and red vette.
