Now that my Mondial is on the road and fulfilling my Ferrari dreams, thanks again David. Ferrari of Bedford

I am actively in the market for a SUV.

    Importance in this order:

    - Cool factor
    - Tow at least 5000 lbs
    - Reliable

    Budget is $25-29k if I sell/trade in my 2012 Volvo S80 or
$10-15k and I keep the S80 for long family trips. I love the S80 it’s been one of the easiest cars we have ever owned.

So I guess $10k-$15k is my real budget.

Cayenne? LR4? Range Rover? Suburban? XC90?

Any and all input welcomed and appreciated,

    Andrew

100 or 200 series Land Cruiser or "Lex Cruiser" (LX470 or 570). Life's too short to deal with unreliable, expensive Euro SUVs as a daily driver. Save your $$$ for the fun, weekend stuff. ;)

I’ve had 2 Cayenne’s. First gen and second gen. We loved them and had no issues with either.

why not get a 4 dr pickup?

Something like the F150 -- carries 5 people, and can tow anywhere from 5K lbs on up (mine does 9300)

Or, if you want something smaller, the Chevy Colorado (or it's GMC cousin). Bonus here is that you can get a 4 banger diesel model that tows 7600 lbs.

For $10-15k, if you want a workhorse you can't go wrong with an Armada or Sequoia, Armada is a better buy used as the Yota holds its value better.

Silly Condo rules “No pickups parked in site” it would have to go in garage. No can do. I do love pickups

i have been impressed with the Cadilac Escalade. It has the larger motor and if you are buying used, most of the issues have been worked out.

Technically not a pickup or SUV.

Saw this at a strip center restaurant today
