SOLD I'm proud to exclusively offer 1999 Acura NSX Alex Zanardi Edition #02 for sale. While ultra-rare at only 51 total units produced, this NSX Zanardi is even more special as a result of its plaque number: NSX Zanardi #00 was Honda's press car, #01 was given to Alex Zanardi himself, and #02 was the first car sold to a customer! Details are as follows: 2-owners from new, current owner for 15+ years. 31,600 miles from new. Unmodified apart from sport exhaust. No prior modification history. Great condition. Car is located in the Atlanta area. Please reach out if seriously interested, [email protected]. hot damn! that's the holy grail of NSX's for me (at least the ones sold new in the US). I'd wish you good luck with the sale, but you're not going to need it
Correct on both counts. It was essentially the equivalent to the "Type S" version in Japan, intended for a combination of track & street use.
The differences are listed here. Essentially is the larger motor of the later cars, in a coupe which was special order by then almost all others were targas, with a 6 speed as opposed to the 5 speed of the earlier cars. These are sublime cars. https://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/General/modelinfo/zanardi.htm
The above specs along with the track tuned suspension and manual steering rack is what transforms the Zanardi edition into a different animal from the typical NSX. Truly a special car and well under appreciated.
So refreshing to see one of these unmolested. I'd guess $120k. But.. as the saying goes, if you have to ask...
Yes, the Type S Zero was very close to being full Type R specification. The regular Type S is more of a car for track use that won't totally beat you up on the street.
