For sale is my 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider in rare Grigio Titanio over black leather interior, manual transmission, with only 15,988 miles. I purchased this car from the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale, AZ last January 2018. I immediately set about restoring the car to it's current (and nearly perfect) condition, using my friends at Renu Detailing in St. George, Utah. The restoration included a hood respray to correct some rock chips, which was then followed up by all new front clear bra and additional paint correction (correcting swirl marks and poor detailing). Additionally, I installed a Capristo exhaust system on the car, which sounds unbelievable (original exhaust included in the sale). As you can see from the paperwork supplied to me by Barrett Jackson, the car underwent a major service less than 3k miles ago (time frame unknown). It runs like a top--I wouldn't hesitate to fly out and drive it home as a buyer. All said, I'm into the car roughly $80k (breakdown is $70k w/fees from BJ, some paint work for a few thousand $$, and a $6k dollar exhaust system). I'm asking $69,900 or best offer. Motivated seller. That may work for pictures, but the first buyer that gets shoe polish on their clothes will wonder what other imperfections you covered up and will likely walk away. +1 for initiative -5 for judgment. OP, GLWS that is a beautiful example.
My intent was to show the car as it truly is. It's 21 years old, and in absolutely remarkable shape for being of that vintage. Thank you for the suggestions!
