I still think it should have a higher detail level (especially the interior), but at least Tecnomodel is choosing and making some interesting cars that all other model manufacturers have ignored.

I agree, the interior is to me the worst part of the Tenomodels..but ia lso don't like teh front grill and overall seems a bit crude..not sure about acuracy on the model as i don't know the original...

Thanks for showing that photo. Comparing the photo of the model with that of the real car.....it unfortunately shows that Tecnomodel did an extremely poor job (again) of modeling the body and details.... After looking at the Mille Miglia 2008 photo I became a little more curious, I wanted to see if maybe, just maybe something major changed in restoration. I found a photo of it on the internet within a 1 minute search, in this livery, from 1952. (photo below) Maybe Tecnomodel should learn how to research a car and look at photos with their eyes open! Most all areas are wrong on their model. It looks more like an artistic interpretation than a model of the car.

I recently received BBR's 1/18 Ferrari J50. Wow, what a crazy design, very spacey. It would make for a nice 1/12 model.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

GP Replicas' F1 87/88 is now available. I was anticipating this model, but I've noticed that the decals on the tires are very weirdly placed and the SF shield logo looks simply horrible. These flaws can be corrected of course, but they should not be on a 200+ euro model. Very weird.

I used to have one made by Onyx. Aren't there any other manufacturers who make this F1?

Since it's Tecnomodel something will be wrong with it starting with the wheels being to big. I am starting to dislike that company now and am glad I don't collect 1/18th models as they are doing some great cars with lot's of mistakes ! They used to be much better when they did smaller models only.

Yep not a fan of them either, but I always judge each model on their own merits. You're probably right, but I'm hoping it will be different this time.

Pedro, years ago FDS made a 1:43 white metal kit of this car with full engine detail. It was a rough kit to build, but a pretty good piece for the time.

Seems to be that there are more model companies making vintage Ferrari models now, but most of the selection are just not done very well. So if you collect based on quality and accuracy.... well... then there is not much of a good selection in 1:18.

Is the DIGITAL decal on the lower nose correct? I don't remember it being placed there before.
