Need some help finding some license plates with an I in the plate. I don’t care what state they are from. I’m doing a project for the family and can’t find any i’s!! I will buy them or can trade for some plates I already have. I need 4 of them to finish the project. Every plate will be cut up to just get the I.

    Thanks for looking!!

I'm betting that's going to be tough. Most states don't use "I" or "O" so as not to get them confused with "one" and "zero"

You might check with some of the older independent salvage yards. They usually have a pile of them.

The i is hard to find for sure. I've noticed in Washington that a lot of cars had it in the plate lately. I'm heading up to Seattle tomorrow maybe I'll hit some antique shops. They seem to have a bunch of plates in them.

I have a few plates kicking around the garage, I'll try to remember to take a look.

Saw one yesterday on a car in the CVS parking lot. If I had just brought a screwdriver with me, it could have been yours. :D

I finally remembered to look but no plates with an "I" in them. Sorry. Pretty cool idea though.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I have a WA plate with an “I”. Actually I have 2. Strangely enough each plate has 2 “I”’s so I have a total of 4 “I”’s.

However. The plates are assigned to the C3 restomod I built this year. My uncle ordered the car new at Lee Johnson chevy the day Nixon resigned. These are the only plates that have ever been on the car. It’s now a permanent registration with no front plate requirement but I can’t let it go sorry.

I looked in some old boxes in my garage and found a matching pair of Washington plates from 1993 that have an "I" in the number. Not sure which of my cars these came from. Want them?

www.licenseplates.tv will custom make absolutely anything you would want.

And it looks authentic, with raised letters and numbers where appropriate.
