What’s with this ‘last of’ stuff? Maybe it makes a difference if it’s ‘last of and therefore best of’ and no doubt Speciale is that. But I think we get carried away sometimes. What was the 250 California ‘last of’? Or the 288 GTO, F12 TDF, F50, Enzo, Daytona or even manual 355 GTB? ‘Last of’ can be something but it is never everything.

I have a from-new Speciale which I don’t plan to sell. If I ever did I doubt it will ever sell for lower than MSRP (If there is a downturn in the economy I certainly wouldn’t sell it). I may well keep my Pista Spider too. Sure, it’s expensive but I’m not sure it will be expensive to own. And if I get stuck with it..... C’est la Vie!
