    So there I was racking up the miles on my car and after about 120 miles I noticed the tach needle would not go past 2,000 rpm. It was moving slowly and then would kind of stop right around there. Fast forward to the 150 mile mark and it seemed to be fine again. I tried keeping the revs low, medium and high and nothing seemed to help it. The majority of the driving was over 60 mph. Suggestions?

    Sounds like the tach sensosr might be going bad.
