In order to weigh these options, one consideration (possibly the most important) is the actual price for a Pista. Most new average optioned Pista’s will likely be in the $425,000 - $450,000 range.

They're both amazing machines, I wouldn't say no to either :)
This is a Ferrari forum, so it's likely that a higher number would opt for the Pista…
The specs in any case are both fantastic, and I probably wouldn't ever run either at their limits.

Pista...and I hate to say it but because it will only go up in value, where as the Lambo!

I think a better comparison would be Pista vs Performante, same concept etc...

I spent a couple weeks driving a friends Aventador. Not for me at any price. Cool looking but way too big and hard to see out of. Just wasnt fun to drive unless it was a straightaway.

Neither, really neither. I want a semi-useable road worthy sports car.
Neither of the above fits that bill; although the Pista comes closer.

Gotta go with the V12. Turbo not in same league IMO. That's from a numbers perspective. Would rather own the Pista though because it would go well with what I have and its a Ferrari.

A better comparison would be between a pista and a performante.
While I'm a fan for the aventador and the performante, I would pick the pista over both of them in a heartbeat.

Aventador wont compare at any level with the Pista other than looks which are subjective.

Yes of course, that V12 sounds amazing but not as good as the V10 Perf.

    A > B and B > C so therefore
    V10P > 488 in sound?
I hope the next V8 from Modena fixes this.
