Louis Camilleri, the new CEO, is obviously an impressive business leader and powerhouse with a deep passion for Scuderia Ferrari. It will be very interesting to see what direction the company goes under his leadership.

This article again references the stakeholders meeting scheduled for September at which time Marchionne was scheduled to reveal the companies 5 year plan (which was initially supposed to be revealed in the first quarter). It will be very interesting to see what direction Ferrari is headed and if anything deviates from things Marchionne previously spoke of.

I'm bullish on the new CEO. He has a ton of successful experience running massive global companies, he loves Scuderia Ferrari and he personally is a Ferrari collector. Seems like a remarkable pick. Though Marchionne wasn't scheduled to vacate for a couple years, they obviously had a succession plan in place given that Camilleri was elevated to the helm in a matter of hours.

This is way too cool. :)

"Providing a glimpse of Ferrari's broader plans to expand its luxury profile, buyers of the Monza SP series will receive a racing jumpsuit designed by Italian high-end luxury brand Loro Piana that will also help protect the drivers against the elements. Italian leather maker Berluti is also making a leather-clad helmet-goggle combo and driving shoes for the brand."

    Very interesting times!
    - a v6 coming...does that mean dino? :)
    - SUV, uggh, but what is behind the delay really?
    - 15 new models in 4 years...wow that is a lot!
    - substantial increase in price...so for those with a pista or any other limited edition, you can undoubtedly take those to the bank in a even bigger way and probably the closest descendants to the cars with the "price increase", so the current crop!
    - "full control of the entire car park" wrt maintenance. Interesting. First their dealers need to bother to return your call for a service price!!!!! Wonder if this will role through to re-producing spares that have gone out of production?

Well "may you live in interesting times!

'Sports Series: two tier mid rear engine' - could this mean the 812 successor is mid engined ?

Particularly as elsewhere they describe the architecture choices as front mid engine and rear mid engine

I hope the V6 will be in a new Dino model (Or more than one model!), but the FUV delay, "To make sure it's perfect" seems wise. This is a new category of vehicle for Ferrari. They have to get it right the first time.

I was intrigued by that as well, Autocar referred to it. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/ferrari-outlines-future-plans-and-hybrid-v6-development I doubt Ferrari would completely give up on the front engined V12 Berlinetta though. Perhaps the 488 replacement will be a V6 hybrid at the current UK £200,000 base price point and say 680bhp a V8 turbo hybrid (more powerful than the current 488) could site above it at say £250K plus basic and 760bhp? A V8 would be better from a packaging point of view than a V12 in a mid rear layout.

I was thinking more, wait to see how Lamborghini, RR et al get on selling their trucks! I think it would be odd if Ferrari were that many years behind in development than their “competition”! But were perhaps waiting to see how the punters react before taking the entire plunge.!!

Lamborghini and Bentley were both able to leverage the platform and tech from VW/Audi/ Porsche, and RR could use BMW's SUV knowledge. With the exception of the fairly new Levante FCA doesn't have much leverage in the Premium SUV market (and I doubt Ferrari customers would take to kindly to sharing platforms and parts with Jeep /Ram). Essentially Ferrari is starting from scratch here.
