My Ferrari was stolen last night from what I thought was a secure location. Too stressed right now to explain the details. I’m with the police now. I thought it would be a wise idea to post this right now in case someone hears anything
    Serial # 26533. Engine # 00900
Red on black interior. Seats are Daytona style with red horizontal bars
I’ll attach photos and provide more info when I calm down

Remember the one stolen in Seattle a few years ago? Found it two days later about a mile away parked on a residential street.

One of my worst fears having "secure storage" away from my home. I hope you get it back in the same condition you kept it in without any damage.

    Thanks for the support guys
My shop was trashed, tools stolen, garage door destroyed and they wiped down fingerprints. None were found on my tool chest that they ransacked or anywhere else. they took my parts manual, workshop repair manual and my binder of all service records. They also found my original floor mats that I had rolled up in a drawer and a pair of vitaloni mirrors and my original keys.

    November 1978 build
    chassis serial # F106AS*26533*
    engine serial # F106AE00900
red with balack interior Daytona style seats - easy to spot

Really sorry to hear about your car. Since its a standard shift (as are all 308's) you can rule out a millennial having stole it.

Wow something doesn't seem right here. It's like someone knew about the car location and the associated parts. Somehow I don't think joy riders would steal service records and manuals along with orig. carpets and mirrors. This sounds like someone stole it to either give to a buyer or someone who will replace the Vin. and move the car out of the country. The last possibility is to strip it for parts. Good luck I hope the police find it.

I am surprised the stupid dipshits knew how to drive a stick.

Kinda narrows down the age group involved if you ask me.

Yes, seems more than just a random theft. Something more to it by the sounds of it.

Yeah, I posted the joyriders comment before ragtop1 gave us the update. Doesn’t sound good for sure. One positive note is those Daytona seats are going to stand out like a red flag. Also interesting that they knew to grab the service records.

Generally, when you take pictures with most digital cameras on smart phones, the camera automatically embeds longitude and latitude information. To my knowledge, FChat removes that information from the pictures. However, I am not 100% sure.

Can anyone confirm whether that is the case?

Just to make sure that if we post a picture that was taken at our home, the whole world does not get to know our exact address.

This is how some insurgents were able to target Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan, location tags on photos posted online.

Yes even your phone adds the location unless you turn it off.
