Hmmm...copycat league, that was the Philly special
He's getting kind of grumpy today. Thanks to Robby Anderson fumble, my fantasy football team has -1 points. T
That's why I posted it. I loathe John Feinstein. Loathe him. But when I agree with him its worth me sharing. Lol I can see this being an entire segment of two on the radio. I hope so anyway. Lol
Everybody knew CLE would win. Taylor would go out with an injury. Baker Mayfield would come in and control the game. Simple really. LOL When Tyrod was in there wasn’t a running play until the third series. Bad game plan. Mayfield much more accurate. Read the defenses much better. Tyrod lost his job tonight. CLE had many dropped passes. CLE missed too many tackles in H1.
Welcome to Baker Mayfield MAYHEM. Guess he won’t be sitting on the bench learning by watching Tyrod. He could see the open receiver and hit him. He made tacklers miss. You would never know it was his first pro game. 17/23. 100.1 passer rating.
I'm hoping for some Mitchell Trubisky mayhem . . . . . waiting . . . . . still waiting . . . . . hoping . . . .
Watching the replay last night, some of those throws I have no idea how he threaded those needles. It was truly impressive. And I saw his interview with Van Pelt last night after the game and he actually came across as a nice guy in the interview. Just like it was just another day for him.
I am waiting for Case Keenum mayhem. 3 tds, 4 ints. 73.1 passer rating. Loves to force into triple coverage. Looks like a long year for DEN.
DEN was 2-0 last year. Ended up picking 5th in the draft. They are 3rd or 4th best in the AFC West. Will be lucky if they win half their games. Last year they were 1-7 away from home.
But you had no QB last year. Keenum isn't the answer, however he is decent enough on a good team with a defense (ie Denver) and receivers that don't drop balls (ie Thomas)
Keenum was something like 82 tds and 12 ints last year with MIN. Now he has four ints after only TWO games. His passer rating is 1 (not a misprint) when under pressure. If he doesn’t turn it around DEN might as well give a young qb some experience for the future. BAL D will be a good test for him this week.
Demarius has sucked for a few years now (right after he signed that large contract). You saw the drop last week vs Oakland during money time? Big time receivers NEVER drop balls at that point in the game especially when the pass is perfect and you are wide open.
Think a similar issue with Dak and Dez /Whitten. Didn't seem to me that they ever found their rhythm. They were always going to be Tony's guys. It may be the best thing for Dak's development that they're gone. At least in the long run, and if he's the QB they think/hope he is...T
Lol. My brother and I are watching this game and he just finished saying that if the game was won on field goals alone then Houston would be Superbowl champs.
I will bet that everyone in the world picked Minny....but they getting spanked by the worst team in the NFL.
Anyone else see that late 2nd quarter TD by Washington, that was not actually a TD, yet they "couldn't find sufficient evidence" that it was not? Each week the NFL is embarassing itself more and more. Why have replay if you're not going to use it properly?
