His money, his car, his decision... What's the non-sense? Makes no difference to how it drives I would also opt for professional de-sticky service, but each to his own... After all it is purely a cosmetic difference that a "driver" may not care that much about.
Read what he wrote. (this is paraphrasing, but you get the point) "You have a 90k Ferrari so do you really want to spend any money to fix the sticky interior."
Not to beat a dead cavilino (no pun intended), but has anyone had work done by Lorenzo Rizzo? I conversed with both he and Dave at Sticky Rx. Both seem like very nice an passionate individuals.
I had my entire 430 done by Dave at StickyRx His process is simply the best using the most advanced technologies You can be be as passionate as you want when it comes to refinishing these plastic parts but the bottom line is it's the end result that counts the most, not price or passion
Lorenzo did my 360 F1 spider interior sticky parts. Fast turnaround, reasonable cost. Recommended to me by a trusted local pro. I would not hesitate to use his service again.
Since the start of this thread, we continue to invest in equipment and development of processes. Earlier this year, we installed a new, custom paint booth - clean room system. This system was $70,000. It's 2 booths connected by a clean room. We made this investment for dust control. Our finish is flawless. We spray the best coatings on the planet with the best equipment. We've also added staff this year and are still looking to hire. Our other painter (in addition to myself), Ryan has been on board 5-6 months and is doing a fantastic job. His attention to detail and pride of workmanship makes him a perfect fit to our team. Thank you, Dale. I forgot to add that our booths are positive pressure. This means air is pushed in thru filters in the ceiling while air is drawn out thru the table spray filters but always maintaining a positive pressure in the booth. This design affords a much cleaner booth as no dust is pulling in thru the door or other seams (which are fully caulked) The booth also have LED lighting. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Said it before, up till recently, I thought you were doing this in your garage! I could say something snarky about Ferrari, but I won't.
Sticky RX is a division of my 21 year engineering and manufacturing company. The vast talent of my team makes what we do extensive with amazing results. My tool maker Paul who has been with me 15 years, makes all the fixtures for us to hold parts while spraying. We have hundreds of fixtures and are now designing and building more fixtures for the laser to make the process more fail safe and efficient.
Dave is relentless in he pursuit of perfection I am very anal about my cars and it's alway great when you entrust your car and parts in someone that just as anal.
I used StickyRX and I’m very happy with the results. I decided to have every part on my car refinished, regardless of its condition. I just wanted to get it all done and not deal with it again. As for removing and installing the parts, I know my limitations. I don’t mess with that stuff. I had a professional deal with it. The car looks like new now.
