The car has Spanish plates and has been based in Spain AFAIK, but at some point I also learned that the owner/family is from Thailand, so there you go about their asian looks.
Color is all about choice and what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for many other people. When Enzo was around they built Ferrari street cars in a great variety of colors. Silver is the ultimate color to highlight every design detail with great clarity. Red was mostly for the race cars and yellow was hardly though of for a paint choice unless you were from Belgium. Plus if he was mad about something he would see that the car was painted yellow and give it a green interior... Of course they offered a great variety of colours back in Enzo's time. That was his personal opinion though and I happen to agree with it.
