What is going on in Provo, Utah?

Totally agree, I would have any 250TR but my faves are TR58 #0728TR, TR59/60 #0774TR and TR61 #0794TR, the three Le Mans winners, all gorgeous cars. Otherwise #0704TR is a beautiful car although any of them would do, so if someone can get that organised let me know lol.

 

Drive carefully around Moab and Canyonlands Park on Thursday.

I haven’t logged into FChat in forever but I’m in Moab now (vacation; I’m not involved in the event) and just saw 2 of the TRs and a Cal Spyder (all red) headed out to Canyonlands. Truly a remarkable thing to see on the road, and the sound was electrifying! No pics because I was driving but we may head out there ourselves in a bit.

I got a phone call from a friend tonight (Thursday) who told me that the La Fonda parking garage in Santa Fe, NM
was full of a bunch of old Ferraris. Although he knows nothing about old Ferraris, he was still very excited just
to see them. I had a hard day today and don't know if I could get into that region of the garage, so I did not try
to see them.

 

Friday: Expect lots of red sports cars towards Aspen, CO.

Vintage rallies Southwest Passage concluded at La Fonda Thursday night. Only interesting Ferrari was a 330 GTC, rest were new stuff. Lots of Porkers, an Alfa or two, etc. Beautiful fall colors everywhere, perfect week in Colorado and NM. Didn’t cross paths with the group discussed here, went to Aspen, Telluride, Gateway, Mesa Verde, heading to pax tod@y, catching evening flight to SD. Most cars will be around through part of today.

Cool, cool. The information regarding LS being a founder of the 250TR tour came from the Klemcoll blog which is in turn owned by Peter Sachs so I assumed it was accurate, although I extrapolated that to guaranteed involvement so my bad.

"Back-ups" included a couple/several Cal Spyders-AFIK

I was told(by a participant) that it is a wonderful event-as I opined in another posting, these sorts of events are going to be the future for these sorts of cars, and he men who are their owners...

The bodywork screamed TR59/60 but the #10 didn't match anything I could see, so that makes perfect sense thanks. Its another McCaw car, Craig this time so....... Would be extraordinary to do a tour of their collection, it must be one of the best
