    Friends,

I took a break to play in my band but now back to working on the Dinos! I was hearing a clunking sound coming from my right front suspension so put the car up and found the passenger side front roll bar bushing looks like it failed.

It has been a while since I worked on this so can anyone suggest a way to get the tension off the bar? Its up on ramps. I think I will change both when I get it off! Not sure what caused this but glad it did not come all the way off and I caught it!!!

Looks like this is the bolt that hold the lower shock mount. Can I repair this with the wheel mounted? Looks like there is no other damage?

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

Rob the bar doesn’t or shouldn’t have preload. Should be easy to remove the four drop link nuts and the 2 nuts on the two mounting clamps

Rob, If you have a pointed drift, you can push out the lower link bolt and the drift will hold it all in position while you re-bush the link. I would not try this with the wheels on the ground. You need to have all the load off of the suspension.

    Rock on !!

The bushings are tough to press in. Remove the link entirely
