I could usually jog the light stalk/switch to turn on and off light but it just gave in now and is stuck in parking light whatever is turned or twisted.

According to information in the cross-ref thread I am ordering a Lancia part (176314180) and hope to fit it. My plan is to identify, cur and transfer the Ferrari contacts as they are quite different from what I see on Lancia stalks.

First problem was a frozen steering wheel hub, in short I tried oil, cold shock, heat but whatever I did it was stuck. I used a puller but the force destroyed the hub to a point where I may be able to straighten the top cage.

I have found a few vendors that sell the hub but does anyone have a link or info about potential "cross references" on the hub? The hub is not splined, it is a single "slot" that is slide onto. I will be using some antifreeze oil-grease when I mount it the next time.

The only special tool needed was the ring nut socket at 28 mm, I got it from a UK specialist. I had to use a "strongarm" to release the nut it was mounted with a lot of torque.

Below is a photo summary showing the white rotating spindle that was split.

Eager to see how this goes. At about $199 that Lancia stalk is a great value, hope its straight forward.

Thanks but I'll try to convert the Lancia piece, its already ordered.

Now on the hub, there is bad news. I've gotten 3 responses so far about the part no longer available.

Somewhat "good news" , Luisi still make the adapter for their steering wheels and it may be fine while searching for a salvaged hub. I'll order a Luisi one so that I can move the car around.

Got the parts and tried to use the Lancia piece but after 2-3 hours trying all cabling combos I recon:
    • Lancia stalk has significantly less cables going to the loom
    • Lancia stalks wiring is of smaller diameter than the Testarosssa wiring
    • There is a difference in the mechanical part of the wiper switch(brass parts) and I could not get intermittent to work
I ended up carefully drilling out the four brass "rivets" around headlamp "switch/housing" and swapping the lever w/cam and surrounding plastics over to the old "Ferrari stalk".

Secured the housing with 3 small diameter bolts and nuts and a small self tapping screw for the last rivet since this one is kind of hidden inside the housing. Works like a charm.

At approx $140 the small plastic cam is expensive ;) but at least the indicator is the same and perhaps quite a few parts from the wiper side also can be used in case something brakes.

Over to the Luisi hub/boss. This piece is perfect fit, it even comes with new screws. The only challenge is the ring securing the horn button, you will have to work this one a little, I ended up modifying it slightly to make it work. This piece is a fine alternativ to the expensive / out of stock Momo piece if you ever need a new one.

I posted this same post last year and did the same.
Eventually the issue will be that the plastic will break again so i ended up sending it to oddparts in California for restorarion.

The plastic part may be somewhat better "formulated" now but yes I, it's bound to break again in 2045! ;)

Did you manage to make it work? I bought the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo stack, but the very white part (gear) that breaks is slightly different, and as a result, after swapping the parts the lights do not work as intended (parking lights are ON in the 0 position etc).

OK, it seems I have bought the wrong light switch. The part differs for Lacia Delta Integrale and Integrale Evo models. You need one for the non-Evo (regular) Integrale - part # 176314180.

The part # given in this thread was correct - it was a misunderstanding in the communiction with the shop (a Lancia specialist).

How is the EZ-Electric Powersteering working?

At what speed does it switch off ? 40km/h ?

Does it fade away after a certain speed or is it simple on/off after a certain speed ?

I will have to subtitle all my Ferrari Freitag videos. We are super busy at the moment and YouTube is a pain in the ass time consuming task. I apologize for this delay and I do my best with the translations. We are at Episode 7 now and both cars are at different locations for prototyping and development.

The EZ powersteering can be programmed to your needs. To be honest, I would never change anything as it is right now. It is purely fantastic. It goes away at 41km/h slowly and is gone at 60 km/h. You can ask them to program what ever you want, but they did so much R&D before that they found an incredible solution. My both Testarossas have them installed and I can not tell you how much more fun it is!
