    It just doesn't quit.
$283,000 to $360,000 with every option....There is nothing under a million that comes near it.
I thought the 812 would have been closer but a front engine makes a big difference.

Alien aero makes a big difference too. I know it's $300k, but its the best value in the supercar performance market today.

Brooks' 720 must have 100's of 1/4 mile passes on it (strip and highway) by now.

I’ll be curious to see what Brooks can run w his car this winter. Seems like the car really likes colder temps. The world record stock runs were done in the winter in New Jersey with tire warmers. I think it was like 9.7 at 147 ish. What really stood out to me tho was the 1/8 mile of that run which was sub 6.4 at nearly 120 mph.

The 720 is a true automotive accomplishment at this price point. Truly a rocket!

My wife loves the sound the CS makes, but can't get over how good and 'next level' the McLaren's performance and package is.

Wow, was not expecting those results. 812 got toasted. Does the engine placement on the vehicles give a slighter edge to one or the other? I know 812 is about 500 lbs heavier but still, I expect a V12 to at least make it a close race.

It just seems that when independently tested or raced Ferrari comes up short vs. their spec. This is across the board. When you drive them, the feel is very good and the sense of speed is there until you are side by side with another high performer.
With this in mind I don't think Ferrari is trying to be the top performer but let's say good enough. I believe Mac is making them step their game up though. The 488 replacement will be telling.

Very different cars, and makes me really wonder what a McLaren (non-BMW) v12 would be like. Will McLaren make a comparable GT in the future?

One of my fav pics of the F1 v12 engine...
