Yes! Would love to drive one. That’s a real race car built from the ground up by Michelotto.

Your config is neat and simple (which is far better than trying too hard IMHO) - but maybe you could consider painted shields (as it seems you have the enamel ones)?

Painted shields are awesome but £10k. Look great on the 812 where there is a big space for them but on the 488 the space is much smaller and might look a bit too much? YMMV.

Painted shields are beautifull but expensive (>10k€) and Luckeylikey and F2003-GA are right : they are bigger than enamel ones and il will delay the delivery

Saw my first ever 488 Pista today. Red with silver stripes. Roared past me on the motorway in the opposite direction. What a car!

I don't recall seeing painted shields as an option on the 488. 812 yes and as others mentioned, has the area to fit.

A friend of mine called me today and told me his buddy is looking at one that's sitting in the showroom of Lake Forest Ferrari, that they want $50k over sticker for it. Seems far fetched but he was certain it was a Pista.

    Not a Pista.

Pistas arriving next month. You won't see any for sale for at least 6 months.

Agree too big for the 488 in the small lower A-pillar location but also look off on the 812 as the position there is much too low compared to the donor F12 car. This is due to a body line they added when removing the Aero-bridge pushing the shield location lower than is comfortable to the eye. Obvious with the small shields but too obvious with the larger IMO.

    Real shield:

The car has been there for at least 2 months. It is the owners car. It is a 488 spider and yes it is a 70th anniversary.

Through TM they offer two different sizes for the painted shields.
