Thanks , yes my qv also has the thermostate switch in the right side. I think once the US market opened up with the qv,and the tempratures in Places like Miami LA Phenix and so on,wich are A big part of US sales,Everything poss was done to avoid overheating.

why do I never see anything like this when I am in florida. im generally there once a year. gorgeous car!
What time of the year do you visit? Remember in FL the driving season is fall, winter and spring.. the summer is too hot for really good cars to come out ( you mostly only see New stuff during the summer)
Nah... it doesn't get that hot in Florida. I drove year round in my first Countach, Diablo and Diablo SV back in the day.
my in laws have a condo in naples that's almost always empty so we visit whenever we feel like spending a week there. now that I have kids, that seems to be more likely to happen in either the summer or one of the full week breaks they have. my last trip was probably the best. I usually see a few Ferrari and 5000000000 Bentleys. last time there was a lot more to see but definitely mostly modern 2000 to current stuff.
I might suggest checking shows on St Armand’s Circle (multiple exotic shows a yr, plus a dedicated Jag show and dedicated Porsche show) ..for British cars check Safety Harbor Fl. -in keeping on topic (mostly) this was a few weeks ago: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I drove my Testarossa, daily driver for 3 years, the dash leather shrunk aprox 1 inch, my 01 Diablo for 1 year,no issues, but it was a nearly new car at the time. My Countach has a perfect ,no shrink original dash, its 30 years old, belonging to the last of the hand made exotics, iow, dash leather glued to fiberglass and aluminum, you leave these cars in Florida summer heat, cocpit temp of 120, i suspect my dash will not look this good for very long, no problem driving, just dont leave it parked for long, unless in the morning or evening.
Oh I dont drive my cars and leave them anywhere. I live in AZ , and it gets much hotter here than Florida and have no issues. I go out for a drive, then back to house she goes and out comes the Porsche for daily routines, and being left outdoors.
Just park in the shade. In the shadow of a building, in covered parking, in underground parking, under a tree that doesn't shed, anything practical & safe.
Underground parking in the summer. Just be careful with door clearance Image Unavailable, Please Login
That reminds me of when I park under a car lift. Like in your picture, not much room for the door. You have to be limber and careful at the same time.
In that particular underground garage, the doors went all the way up with clearance, but not by much.
Did some electrical and relay replacement on my car this week,Starter and ign/fuel pump relay in left side box ,wich sends power to the right side relay box, also removed my air pump solenoids, wich cleaned up the engine bay big time. Are these boxes something new? Since I saw those already many years ago in a LM002 and 25th. Are they available or NOS/NLA?
