Off topic but does anybody know the price of the LaFerrari Aperta for sale at Crave Luxury Auto? Does Ferrari have to approve the buyer?
Well it didn't sell at the Goodwood auction last month and I'm guessing the price is in the range of the auction estimate ($6.5-$8.5mm): https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24878/lot/277/ I'm not sure if it's still in the UAE as that auction description said UK duties are paid so maybe it's physically in the UK at the moment. The 8th VIN digit is a "T" rather than "A" so I doubt it can be easily imported into the US. T is Middle East prior to 2000 and after 2007. "A" is North America LHD + 2000-2007 Middle East.
That car comes out of the collection of C.A., an Indian businessman who "left" Dubai recently. That man also had a 599 GTO Special Project SP 30. See official Ferrari magazine TOFM and other publications. There's also a red F40 "LM" conversion, a darkgrey LF, a Challenge Stradale, an F12 and a couple others. All out of the same collection. No, Ferrari doesn't have to approve the buyer. Cars are with Karl Stomberg of Crave Luxury Autos in the Woodlands, TX. Some are in the UK. https://www.craveluxuryauto.com/about-crave-luxury-auto-in-the-woodlands-tx Marcel Massini

It's probably over 6.5 million like the other ones on the market also Ferrari has no say on second hand cars... Not to mention Crave isn't even an authorized Ferrari dealership.
