I'm not ashamed to say it, if that TR has a straight body, with "decent" paint, and runs, I would not be afraid of buying it at a -fair- price.
Would you put a number on that? My take was/is that, previously, a complete, generally undamaged TR would interest the F dismantlers at ~$30K and that's now moved up to maybe ~$40K. Agree? Disagree? (Glad do get anyone else's opinion too.)
If the engine runs with no issues - just needs a service, and no noises from the transaxle or differential, straight body with decent paint...yes I would think $35k to $40k would be a fair price.
7000 miles..........under water! The rust, alge green mats, dissolved leather says salt water damage to me. Houston flood car.
The listing now says 'sale pending', so evidently someone is about to "take the plunge" on it! Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal. Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using Tapatalk
'Runs and drives'.......Hmmm there is some semantics that need to be defined. If, If, If the mechanics are solid with only a major service to be performed, then you go into the leather work and interior. So $60k buy in plus tax is $66k. Engine out service (for the first time) $`12k, interior re-leather and carpet, $12k. You are at $90k for a car with a lot of rusty components and shot paint. The Ratarossa has some competition.
Possibly that car sold of it was my car I wouldn’t sell it that low for all that comes with it classiche cert. majority all the solid tr have been selling hope to see u in another soon
But...but, you can buy annnnny Testarossa at $90k all day long! Don't be fooled by those dealerships selling prestine examples for 120k + That's just the Ferrari tax and they're trying to screw you! .....or maybe, you get what you pay for lol Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice!
