Does anyone know if the "single can" spider exaust will fit on the "double can" exaust that the TB uses? I have access to an inexpensive one and thought I would give it a try but wasn't sure of the fitment. I thought I read that it was a bolt on perfect fit but can't remember for sure. Just want want to experiment with inexpensive exaust options.

I just put one on my TB, however it did require fabrication work for the mount points. This may be due to my car being a euro TB and the spider exhaust being from a US car, but am not sure. It did connect to the cats without issue.

Oh wow awesome and great to hear! Was there much improvement on the sound quality? That's really what I'm after and of course some weight reduction.

How is the sound Improvement going from double muffler/silencer to single?

I started out making a homemade exhaust but hit a snag. I always thought the stock exhaust tips were two small and wimpy looking. Here is a mock-up I did with 3 inch dual tips which I love. Even all of the expensive aftermarket exhaust use small wimpy looking tips which is surprising.

Somewhat noticeable. But the true benefits are weight and heat reduction.

    Impressive looking indeed.

Personally, I think the smaller duals are a better fit, aesthetically.

The sound improved quite a bit, but it's hard to tell how much was from the muffler change or replacing the cats with resonators. I'm not subject to emissions anymore in GA due to the cars age > 24 years.

for my part, tubi style 14kg gain on the silentious
Gain on an empty original cata 1kg with tubi style pipe test
16kg on the original. it compensates for my weight gain :)
I do not have the weight of a complete catalyst.
