    I'll be a dissenting voice. I like it. Sort of reminds me of the Porsche color Meissen blue, albeit a tad more pastel...T

    Spoke to my dealer in London yesterday. Big delays with Rosso Portofino colour. They said if you change the colour can get car soon, otherwise looking at Q2 19. Apparently issues with applying the new paint to different materials (aluminium, plastic etc) on the car. Has anyone had a car delivered in Rosso Portofino? I’ve seen press cars

    I asked the same question from my London dealer and am waiting to hear the actual story about the paint. I asked in a separate thread if there were any photos of Rosso Porotfino cars and there seem none.

    Interestingly I was not told anything about there being a specific problem with the paint itself - maybe you can PM who you spoke to?

    I ordered mine in Rosso Portofino in November and was scheduled for a July/August build and still have not heard anything from Ferrari. Most red dealer cars are Rosso Corsa. There may be an issue with the paint.

    My PF was scheduled on Sept in Rosso Portofino but my dealear (Italy-Milano) told me about the "paint problem", so I had to change the color (Rosso Corsa) in order to get mine at the end of the year. He was not able to give me a reliable delivery date with the Portofino paint.

    Ferrari is the most prestigious brand name in the entire auto industry, save for possibly Rolls Royce. You'd think they'd know how to paint a car.

    These procurement issues, along with initial depreciation, are why I think Ferrari cars should not be bought new.

    It’s a Ferrari after market option so u have to spec a standard wheel(s) and this later through the parts department. At least that is what we were told. We spec’d the diamond finish for my wife’s due early spring.

    I get this. And you're not the first to voice that criticism in this thread.

    I really like the silhouette that the Portofino carves when it's rendered in Black. Proportionately it's a nearly perfect car, which is amazing given how big the rear end had to be to accommodate the hard top. While I appreciate the styling cues that crease and vent the sheet metal, the overall shape is what's most appealing to me.

    Picking it up in two days. I have had the original California, California 30 and California T. Each was an improvement in their own way. I have high expectations for the PF. Trying a few new options on this one. Sport exhaust pipes, heat insulating windscreen (hopefully reduces problems with dashboard leather peeling off), and high power HiFi system. Eliminated cruise control (never used it).
