The ones that were taken in the UK are the Piper P4. They were taken by a GM designer in the '70's at Piper's facilities. I'm not going to get into whether it's a 'real' P4. That discussion has been ongoing on FChat for years. I only post the photos. I took all the other photos and they were shot in the USA. I've been around a long time!
Thank you for the photos. Some were taken at the 18th Annual FCA Nationals held at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC (4-7 June 1981). Some at Pebble Beach 10 August 1975. Some at Rockton/IL at/near Blackhawk Farm raceway 23 May 1975. I particularly like the yellow alloy bodied 275 GTB/4. And Glapinski's "modified" 250 Zagato 0689 GT. Also Jim Jaeger's brand new 288 GTO on MI plates of dealer The Sports Car Exchange. And the green 365 GTC #12187. Not to forget Robert Sutherland's 250 LM #6053 (with the red-black 375 MM PF Berlinetta #0490 MM of Larry Slattery in the background). Can you name some of the other events, please? Thank you. Marcel Massini

you got them correctly. some are from The Meadowbrook Concours, Rochester, Michigan The 'Italian Happening' at various locations: GM Tech Center, The Dearborn Inn, Oakland Community College Farmington Hills,MI Some from 'Eyes on Design Concours' Grosse Point, Michigan Some from Pebble Beach Others from local Ferrari Club of America events
I'm not really sure. There are several black Daytona photos that I do believe belonged to Mr. Schwartz, but I'm not positive. Didn't realize the car had been repainted.

Marcel: Are you sure the 250LM is Bob Sutherland's? I have not studied the car photo closely, but the location looks like one of Larry Knack's picnics in Long Grove, IL. If so, the car may be the Lowell Hedburg LM that was driven so well by his then son-in-law Mike Angus.
Post 10578: Photo #4: 400 Superamerica #4251 SA of Jake Silberberg and Murray Cogan. Photos #1-3: Dr. Ron Mulacek's white 250 Europa GT Speciale ex-Dubonnet #0393 GT. This car was shown a few weeks ago at the FCA Nationals in Corning and Watkins Glen/NY. Marcel Massini
Henry used to drive the 250 LM to work! I'll never forget the noise. He'd park it in the executive garage amongst all the GM company cars. What a sight.
Marcel: I am sure you are correct. However, if the location is Knack's, and the Slattery 375MM in the background makes that a good guess (Larry never drove the car far from Chicago), then how did Bob's LM get there? Fading memories.
6053 is unique, not just the nose, note two bubbles on rear part of roof (hinges) plus additional metal device on top of roof, plus two door signal lights from the Le Mans race. Only 6053 had this. Between 1970 and 1975 250 LM #6053 went from Colin Crabbe to Dick Merritt to Terry Myr to Harley Cluxton to Bob Sutherland. Maybe it was shown by Merritt or Myr and not by Sutherland. But for sure it is 6053. Marcel Massini
