I don’t think think that it will buff out It makes the latest paint scrape on my P platers car seem rather insignificant Our young drivers need all the driver aids and safety devices at a time in their life that they can least afford to spend money on them Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
David we always went for golfs four our kids....The only reason being 10 airbags and german engineering.....And we made them do an advanced drivers course before they were let loose....but it's still a lucky dip for us all.....Especially with the drug epidemic amongst our young kids these days....
Very true David,Ethan was given this car and I must say Starlet’s are a great first car and very reliable I think the plus is their sturdy well made little cars, not many airbags though Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
A large part of the reason my son progressed through his L and P plates in a Golf was that we thought it was the safest car for him My daughter has ended up with a Corolla because it has more airbags and can’t be driven as fast as the Golf Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
N NOOOOOO! Learn to drive properly without the nanny aids and you've got a far better chance of avoiding accidents. i bet this young fella has a MUCH better understanding of stability and dynamics now. Number one reason for accidents these days is inattention - everyone assumes the car will save them...
YYEESSSSSS My kids are completing various driver training courses and learning how to drive properly if/when **** happens out on the open road They need all the help they can get by being in a car that is well designed and with a good understanding of what the safety features of their cars are I am hardly going to buy them a Corvair or a Lada because they should learn how to drive in an unstable car with terrible handling Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
erm.. Corvairs did not have terrible handling, Ralph Nader manufactured his "evidence" - it was the first occurrence of fake news and has since become received wisdom. The rear suspension was a direct copy of a Beetle or Porsche 356, but with a lower roll centre. In the ensuing court case, a test driver was hired to try and roll a Corvair, he couldn't do it, because the cross ply tyres didn't have enough grip.
