Hello everyone, This will be my first real post. I have ordered fabspeed headers for my 2000 360. They should be here any day now. So to prepare I have begun the task of removing the factory manifolds. As I have read extensively there are several nuts that are barely possible to get to, and take an extreme amount of time to remove. I have seen the pictures of the numerous tools and combinations of tools that wee used to remove the nuts. Well I have successfully removed the manifolds, and I initially struggled getting the most forward nuts off too, however I have found the tool for the job. I believe that all 16 can be removed with this one tool. It is an offset wrench from harbor freight. It is long enough to get enough torque to break the nuts free, and short enough to fit in the tight spaces, and the offset will fit between the manifold, and engine block perfectly. Great tip for future DIY'ers. Always a good idea to squirt some PB Blast or the like and leave overnight.

Well I hope that this info helps just one person. I really believe that the manifolds can be removed from the engine using only this wrench. It is a little time consuming on the hard to reach nuts. Only because there isn't a lot of room to swing the wrench. But once they broke free and a few turns most were able to be removed by hand. Gary Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
I would also suggest getting U-joints and extensions for your ratchets while you are at HF They made my intake manifold removal and install 10 times easier.

Thanks for sharing great info Gary. I have removed my exhaust manifolds and replaced with Agency Power headers (F430 Spider) and I used mini socket and it worked too but looks like the one you suggested is a better tool. Thanks again for sharing. Dan
